The objective for these clients was to create a large, spacious handless kitchen with an eating area for entertaining 5+ people. There was already a formal dining area so this was to be a part of the island setup.
We wanted to create a contemporary design with an added impact that would not overpower the kitchen but still look current in years to come.

Although we didn't do the building works on this project, we worked closely with the clients builders as we had to instruct on the finished floor levels of the new concrete due to the Ebeco electric underfloor heating we were going to lay, covered by 600mm square polished porcelain tiles from RAK Ceramics.
With the addition of a seamless join to the Junckers 14mm Beech SylvaRed Harmony in Matt Lacquer solid timber flooring we were laying we acheived a perfect flat level throughout with no steps from one surface to the other throughout the ground floor.












































































The ATAG Wok & induction hob to gives the client the flexibility of Wok cooking as a large proportion of the year was spent in Singapore. This was shadowed by the intergrated hood built into the thin High Gloss Macassa Veneer units, along with Siemens side-by-side fridge freezer, dishwasher & secondary built-under fridge & micro/combi oven in the island.
The red glass splashback was influenced by a rug the clients were planning on using in the open space leading to the formal dining area.
